Very tough. Bought one five years ago and totally abused it- lots of cutting stone, slate concrete and metal. Dropped it lots of times and got it wet. I thought the gear had finally busted, so bought a replacement angle grinder. I took the old one apart and found it was just a bearing collapsed - bought a new one for £2 and it's fine.
