Ryobi RAC115 Reel-Easy Head and Trimmer Line

Really 'Easy' Ryobi Strimmer Head loading.

Been using my petrol Ryobi strimmer for many years and found re-loading the head with new cord very frustrating and awkward, centre spring leaping out, dropping the centre bolt and tangling up the cord as I loaded.....not any more. I lost a part of the head and purchased a new replacement unit and it is so easy to load, no dismantling required, you cut a length of cord then line-up the marker on the head body with the usual exit holes for the cord and push the line through the exit hole and it appears through the other side, you then pull it to an equal length each side and using the 'bump' button that forwards the line when strimming you simply wind the line into the head unit nice and neat until the usual length required is protruding each side and you are good to go....brilliant!...... takes a quarter of the time without any swearing involved!

Brilliant design

Looked at lots of reels that looked like what I have but application not clear. Saw this "for all RLT Trimmers" so ordered it with crossed fingers. Took me just a couple of minutes to fathom the fitting and, OH MY, what a fantastic design!! So easy to load. Very impressed with quality feel.Read full review

Best go for authentic product. Look a likes are false economy in strimmer spools

Made the mistake of buying two look a like products at half the price. Both broke around outside pertruding edge of spool as plastic too brittle. Authentic brands use a softer more durable plastic and lasts for ages, enabling reloading with strimmer line, time after time.Read full review
