Samsung Xcover 3

Great value, tough phone.
Good features and quick to load internet pages.
S
Only downside is occasional poor signal reception.

I EXPECTED SOMETHING BETTER

1. Battery - lasts less then one day
2. System - nice and smart
3. Power on/off - every time I turn on the phone I must wait 10min to use it
4. GPS - better solution would be to drive with map ''GPS signal lost''
5. Camera - you must wait few sec still before being able to take a picture if you want it to be clear

Short life

Worked fine until I put a sim card in then factory settings block message locked me out . Tried several ways to get it working but no luck. In a drawer to be forgotten until I might need a spare battery so not a complete waste of money.Read full review

smooth operating phone , not too fancy .

Not too big , performs all; the functions I need but small memory makes a SD card necessary .

Just as it said on the advert.

So comfortable in the hand and easy to use. Just a shame that it was a European model and the instructions were in anything but English.
l like the whole setup but a pity that he battery only lasts around 12 hours and needs regular charging.Read full review

Very durable, yet stylish.

I found this phone to be reliable, and for a rugged brute with many protective qualities, very stylish too. My only concerns are the battery life, which is not great but the operating system does allow for power saving and ultra power saving modes. Also, 8gb is small but the phone will take up to 32 (I think, maybe 64). However the operating system will not allow for writing to external sd card. Apps or rooting will get around this, but it is inconvenient. Overall 4/5. Great for the outdoor life, providing you carry a battery pack in your bag.Read full review

Engineer's phone

Great phone for engineers and mechanics etc, metal filings / grindings don't clog up the speakers and microphone which usually stops them working.
I previously had an xcover2 which had superior battery life 4-5 days, however this xcover3 has a far faster processor, so internet usage is a lot faster and it can manage 2 + days on the battery (buy a spare battery as a back up)
I know it's dated and old stock, but I don't care....... it does everything I need it to.
