Good case for the price.

I bought this case for a 12 string Danelectro electric guitar and it fits perfectly. The case is good for the price. It will certainly protect your guitar. I have much more heavier cases but they cost much more. Again for the price it is a great case.....Read full review

Good durable case

The case is fairly lightweight, but sturdy. It fits a Stratocaster very well. Teles have a bit more room to move around. But once you secure the top it is probably a snug fit.

Provides two storage areas that are very handy. I also like how the outside corners are rounded.Read full review

Solid case at a budget price

Was looking for some affordable hard cases to store guitars and went with the SKB Economy Universal. So far, a good choice.

The case looks reasonably well constructed. It's lighter than my Coffin Case, but still seems durable. Don't think it's designed for the rigors of a road tour, but for tossing a guitar in the back of the car it should be more than adequate.

My biggest concern was that I have a number of different styles of guitar, would they all fit? They absolutely do. The biggest (in terms of depth) is my Les Paul Studio. I had to squeeze a bit to snap the locks, but It fit securely. There is some foam padding on the top that should compress a bit. The thinnest is my Telecaster, and it also fit nicely. No real rattling around inside the case. So this should fit just about every standard electric guitar you own.

It doesn't have TSA approved latches, so it might be an issue when traveling. But again, I see this more as a hard case for storage and casual use. And for those purposes, I can't imagine finding a better case for under $100.

Very happy with it, and will order a few more for the rest of the collection.

Guitar case fits PRS electric guitar.

I bought this case for my PRS Custom SE 24. It fits perfectly. The case is not really designed for touring or heavy traveling, but for storing your guitar it is perfect.

Great

When it comes down to it, you have two choices on the hard case market: wood or plastic. Wood is heavier, but with good protection (maybe not those $60 cases). Plastic is lighter, more expensive, and sometimes offers as much, if not more protection. This is certainly a light case, but not for long term use. The plastic is relatively flexible, I can see it cracking somewhere if it were thrown, say, in the back of a tour van. I've had plenty of cases where you could stand on them, I wouldn't with this. That said, I've seen TRASHED guitar cases used by bands, often with all sorts of cracks, and they still use them. This will protect, but definitely not as long as a more expensive one.Read full review

Good value in a semi hardshell case

Nice lightweight case and my strat fits very snug with no movement once the case is closed. Great value!

High quality, reasonable price.

SKB makes great cases. The instrument doesn't slip around inside it, and the insulation and exterior are strong enough to take a drop from normal carrying height without worrying. How many times has your G&G case taken a minor bump and popped a latch?

These are SKBs more light weight cases, and there is some wiggle room from the bottom. This means as the top ages, and the padding compresses, the instrument won't be as snug. Ok. If you want a case for 25 years of daily hard wear, get SKBs higher end model.

Nothing special, but not bad either

My only real complaint is the latching system, very cheap, if it wasn’t for that this would be a really great case. For the price it really isn’t bad.

perfect

Previous reviewer absolutely correct, PRS SE Custom 24 fits like a glove. Looks like a well made case. Hardware is solid, everything is great. Lids on storage compartments would be nice but maybe not necessary because of raised areas on lid. we'll see. Won't be sending back because of that.Read full review
