A little pricey but noticeable improvement in performance
I live in a brick built 3 storey house and the Sonos Bridge I was using couldn't reliably reach all corners of the house without frequent dropouts. The Boost has fixed that, with seemingly more range and quicker response times (volume up/down, speaker group/ungroup and playlist additions/deletions) - early days but so far so good. Only disappointment is that it was needed at all and at £80 this would buy a reasonable spec router so can't see anything other than Sonos brand pushing the price up.
