SONY Xperia Z C6602 - 16GB - Black (Unlocked) Smartphone

Sturdy and reliable phone

I've always been a fan of Xperia phones and this is my second Xperia Z (the other one was stolen). It's not the lightest or slimmest of phones, but it works brilliantly with Android and gives me everything I need. I charge it overnight every night (actually it doesn't take very long to charge up) but the battery would probably last a couple of days if I didn't use it much.

I use a screen protector and one of those cheap leather cases (use the flip-top type with the fold at the top or bottom, otherwise the case obscures the charging socket). I know this makes it a bit bulky, but I'm used to it and it keeps the phone well protected.

The camera isn't fabulous (probably because the lens gets easily covered in dust) but I don't use the phone for photography much anyway. That's what cameras were invented for.

Touch wood, it's been 100% reliable, once I'd set it up to suit me. I can't see any reason to replace this phone for the forseeable future, and am very happy with it. Probably not hundreds of pounds happy, but it's easy to find a really good used one for around £70 to £80 and I think it's excellent value at that price.Read full review

Lovely phone, the right size and weight, in my opinion!

Wanted to try an Xperia but not break the bank! Very pleased with the Z so would definitely try a Z3, Z4 or Z5 or higher if the right one came along at the right price!!!
