THIS CHAIN NO GOOD FOR ELECTRIC BIKES

This chain might well be fine for ordinary mountain bikes and it maybe may naivety but for an electric mountain bike of 11 speed this chain lasted 2 weeks … failed on me, snapped and even reducing the chain by taking links out didn't help - the chain kept failing all day ….. I might have been just unlucky but the 1110 will not be a chain im buying again ...bought the 1130 which is supposed to be more robust ….. Brilliant value for money.

Bearing in mind that many retailers and bike shops want to charge over £30 for this it really is super value. I'm pretty poor at d.i.y. but even I fitted it in only a couple of minutes. Brilliant !

I use this model of chain on my 11 speed bikes. I change the chain every 1000 miles, regardless of wear, or beforehand if wear gets to 0.75%.
