Signal dampener needed for BT youview.
Bought this aerial to try and get better channel coverage from a BT youview box. Believing I needed a high gain antenna, It turns out I didn't, but this aerial is great and picked up a whole host of channels I wasn't recieving before hand (tested on the TV itself also).
For anyone interested, I have had to buy a signal dampener so my youview box would receive the channels I was missing. Turns out, too strong a signal overloads the box.

Bought this after reading plenty of reviews, all of which were good. Unfortunately for me this aerial didn't better the one I already have. Whether it's a poor signal area I don't know. Very Good Aerial.
Nearly fifty years ago I was an aerial rigger mainly in the Crystal Palace signal area. Some of the aerials I rigged were cumbersome and heavy and pretty large, needing two people to get it in the clamp, in comparison to today's aerials. Does what it says.,easy to fit to pole with all fixings and a waterproof connector sleeve.
I live in a dip with a hill right in line with the signal so if trees were wet or it was windy the signal with my old aerial on some channels and HD channels was not watchable with constant break up.With this new aerial the picture is now stable and the gain is higher on all channels after a rescan i noticed most were at 10 and only a few lower at 8 so i,m well pleased.As i live on a boat it is now quicker to set up when i go from my mooring.Read full review...
