Just OK, not LED brightness

Although the color is whiter, the distance it projects is just OK. Is it worth $56.00? Only if you have eBay Bucks to spend! Maybe LED would have been a better choice, but the Sylvania is safer (no flickering or possible bulb blackouts). It got rid of the yellow tint of my stock ones so I'm OK with them.Read full review

Manufacture issues on the metal base

It produces good light, however, seems to have manufacture quality issues. I had to file a little bit with my dremel in order to get the bulbs fit properly on the fog light housings of a Toyyota Tacoma 2018.Read full review

Very disappointed

Honestly very yellow not white at all. Very over priced installed them and in less then a week pulled them and through them right in the trash. Don't waste your money learn from my mistake. If your looking for a light that looks like hid lighting system put in hid bulbs. If you want the led look buy led bulbs. These are no better than any other halogen bulb. No quite hi end white

These are white if you don't have reflective lenses in your headlights. They reflect the gold tips, turning the white light back to yellow (from the gold coloring) like a standard bulb. If you don't have these reflectors in your headlights, like my buddies car, the light is brilliant white.Read full review

Near LED Brightness

Immediately you can tell the difference, a nice bright white light and not the old yellowish from every day OEM bulbs you buy in the stores. I'd never pay the full retail price, you can buy LED bulbs at half the price. In my case LED bulbs were to long and unable to put the dust cover back on. Vibrant Xenon Car headlight Globes

The “Sylvania SilverStar” zXe & zXeGold series bulbs, are car bulb headlights ideal for those whom want a more Xenon-Glow look and feel for their car headlights. Increasing in overall Brightness plus Whiteness effects, without sacrificing too much light output performances and the distance shone on the road.

These bulbs glow with a clear bright and vibrant White/tinged-Yellow light aka cool white. (Colour temperatures is @3750Kelvins = Sylvania Silverstar zXe, & @3850Kelvins = Sylvania Silverstar zXe Gold)

Note: pure white light is ~5000K-6000Kelvins Referred to as Daylight white.
Warm white ~2600K-3200K.
Cool white ~3300K-4500K.
6500K+ is more blue-ish light, than white.

2896 Lumens for zXe bulbs, and 2690 Lumens for zXeGold bulbs. Only a minor decrease of 7% & 14% Lumens (respectively each bulb series); is to be expected when choosing headlight bulbs to have a more whiter light output, along side that extra Xenon-Glow effect for one’s car headlights.

These are favourable high quality & powerful headlight bulbs, with a brighter/whiter light glow overhaul plus Xenon effect too.
However do keep in mind that when choosing to upgrade to new “High Performance headlights bulb”. That they often have a much shorter life span compared to generic and/or standard long life headlight bulbs. High Performance bulbs lasts approx~1.5-2.5years compared to 3-5+ years Long-Life type bulbs.

(End note: Xenon-Glow, works much better for those with Projector type headlights rather than Reflector type head lights).Read full review
