It works with some of my SSD drives (1Tb, 2Tb, 240Gb) but not with 4Tb CRUCIAL SSD.
This might be because the CADDY does not have enough POWER or because the 4Tb DRIVE is a GPT PARTITION TABLE.
I did update the FIRMWARE from the SABRENT SITE but that made no diference.Read full review

This enclosure works but could break.

The monster thick cable allowed my seven year old 2.5" 1TB SATA SSD to transfer at its full speed, which was about 400MB/s. I guess the cable can handle more than twice that speed.

Fragile caddy, but worth it for the USB A to USB A cable.
