Easy to use and keeps cupboards secure.
We began using the Safety 1st Magnetic Tot Lok several years ago to lock up medication as part of the requirement to qualify as foster parents.
Our medicine cupboard is secure and the magnetic "key" is easy to use to get the cupboard open.
Ten years later and the locks have stayed secure. I purchased this new set because we lost the magnetic "keys".
When I consider that the freezer I purchased a year ago for almost $1000 is already broken and the Safety 1st magnetic locks I purchased 10 years ago are still working, the quality is great and it's a great value.

Security when you need it
The simplicity of on-off security, being able to choose when the cupboards are locked, and the ease of entry when in the secure mode by using a special magnet makes the product a joy to use.
This is great security system all around, for children and the adults, especially the occasional visitor. I can flip the locks on when the kids come and flip the tab to leave them unsecure for my own use when no kids are around. As a grandparent I want peace of mind when the children are here, but I don't want to struggle with security latches on a day-to-day basis. This system is wonderful for that exact purpose. It is easy to de-activate the lock and open the door when it is in the secure mode with the special magnetic "key" while keeping the kids out.
I've had other systems where I had to try to get my finger into the partial open crack of the door to push a lever to release the latch. It was a hassle and my grandchild was able to break the other brand's flimsy latch arm. With the other kind of latches, I had to fight with them every day just so the cupboards could be off limits on weekends.
I can only repeat, simplicity of on-off security and the ease of entry when in the secure mode makes this product a winner.Read full review
