41302 Sakura Pen-Touch Paint Marker
1mm fine silver paint pen. This new version uses a different solvent base than the older one (xylene). I am hoping it will perform better. The pens work very well when first opened Unfortunately the silver paint seems to harden aound the fiber pen nib so that it no longer draws paint to the tip of the nib and hence doesn;t fuinction after it has been stored for several weeks. The gold version doesn;t seem to suffer from this failure and this new solvent formulation may remedy this problem (too early to tell).
The pen draws fine lines much better than small paint brushes and is a pleasure to use (when new). for touch ups, fine artwork and instrument conrol labels etc.
Note: The priming directions are on the plastic sealing package and on the cardboard packing- don;t throw it out since the sealing packaging is usually removed to allow a comfortable grip on the pen.Read full review...
