To date I've used this thermo five or six times for various cooking purposes - from cakes to steaks and can tell for sure it is worth its price. Readings show up and update very fast and the accuracy is high enough. Too early to come to any certain conclusion but as for now, this thermo has really shown no evident flaws. Super accurate, but delicate.

As far as I can tell, this thermometer is accurate and precise to 0.1C

Its response time is quicker than many other probes I've used.

The magnetic temperatures chart for the fridge is useful to refer to later.

The problem is that it isn't very durable.

Firstly, if you measure the temperature of something very hot from the oven, perhaps around 200C, the heat travels up the metal spike and into the plastic housing. This deforms it slightly, and lets water in.
This leads to the ultimate death of the device.

I've just checked, and apparently 200c is the maximum rated temp for this probe, so maybe I should be more careful. At just £15 on ebay, maybe I'll buy another, but I'm not sure.Read full review...

A good food thermometer

Happy with it so far. Bought to check temperature of meat in my air fryer. Seems to work just fine, simple on and off button, also had a handy magnetic guide to show at a glance different recommended temperatures.Read full review...

Useful little thing - I had a different brand one years ago that was brilliant, BUT huge, this is so much easier to store.

So far it seems to be working well, it is delicate, and I have had to think where to store it so it does not get damaged as I look for things in the kitchen tools drawer, but it works well.Read full review...
