Samsung VP-DX100 Camcorder

This camcorder was suitable for my needs as I was looking for a camcorder that was within my budget for my family. It is a compact style and had latest technology features that was easy to understand. I loved the colour which was black and it was also from a very reptuable brand name. The product came with extra bonus to get me started straight away.

The only think I would have like to have with the product was a lead for the television to play back direct to this. Overall I think the camcorder is a nice lovely bargain for me.Read full review...

eassy to use

i always like to buy one,to buy this on such a low price and still looks new,cannot ask 4 more.we are going to take it 4 our holiday and my daughter who is 7 years old is using it at the moment,that shows how easy to use this product.everything is easy to find,eventhough u dont have the handy book.the picture is really good.Read full review...

Handy size, nice and compact. Nice and easy to use. Good picture quality and sound good. Battery not great so would recommend buying an extra one. Had a couple cameras but this one for the price is excellent for casual use. Blank dvds are about 10quid for 50 and record between 30-60mins depending on the picture quality. Thought 30mins a short time but surprisingly I found it to be more than enough and only takes a few seconds to swap over. I'd recommend it definately.Read full review...

You get what you pay for i suppose

Firstly, it wouldn't read discs so had to be returned. It felt cheap and nasty and 'creaked' when zoomomg and pressing buttons, even though on the plus side, it DID feel comfy to use, and adjustable to my large hands! On 'feel', wouldn't get another, bought a panasonic used, which was much cheaper and more solid (and works) so now happy. Never been a samsung fan, and this hasnt improved my feelings towards them as a brand. On another plus, the ebay store Tesco Outlet were very professional and quick at refunding.Read full review...

this camcorder is very easy to use. the 2.7LCD screen is bright and easy to see. the on board menu is simple to use.the unit fits nicely into the palm of the hand and all controls fall nicely to your finger tips. if there is a fault it would be the battery which only lasts for about 1hour at most.Read full review...

Small, light, compact, easy to use. Easy to follow menu and set-up, big choice of disc types but not so easy to get exactly the right one. Dislike short battery life (bought a spare).
