Not genuine part
I bought this filter for my samsung French door refrigerator. My ice maker stop working after 2 months. I called samsung center and went service center with this. They said it's not their part. I put new genuine filter and my refrigerator is working fine. This fake filter makes water line clogged. Don't buy this. Read full review

Was skeptical
I couldn't see how these filters were being sold so cheap compared to Amazon and local retailers. One filter is normally $48. The two pack I got where packaged In the same box I would get from the store, brand new, and the actual filter was sealed in plastic. Everything was exactly the same on except that the old store bought one said "mineral water" on it and the new one said "fresh water". All other wording as to what it filters and all the fine print was the same. I installed it in my Samsung fridge and it fit perfectly and the water tastes as good as it ever did. Great filters and not cheap imatation
If you use these filters in your refrigerator you learn quickly that all those aftermarket filters either don't filter as well or they never seal right.
