Good With a Big Setup Caveat

The product works nicely. We went from one to two bars to three to five bars throughout the house. Since this plugs into your internet router, make sure the router is centrally located if possible.<br>
Just one big note. I was having a great deal of trouble with the initial setup because the unit was stalling where it was required to tie into the Verizon network. I spent a couple of hours talking to both my internet supplier and Verizon's Tier 1 tech support. However, when I was elevated to the Tier 3 support, the representative knew immediately what the solution was. Apparently, you need to contact Verizon and register the MAC ID number on the unit label. Nowhere in the instructions are you told this, nor have I ever seen anyone comment on the internet!!!! The tech support guy said that he is also frustrated that nobody seems to know this. Anyway, once the ID of the unit was register, it worked almost instantly.Read full review

do you have wired internet???

I wished I would of known this before hand. the product probably works great but one thing I didn't know was you need fast wired internet to set up your booster. I got it configured by verizon in other words the old owners name taken off the booster. but I could not hook it up because my internet that I have was not fast enough.Read full review

No bars to full bars

Tried to buy the item from Verizon and couldn’t get it so I went to eBay. My wife set it up in less than 1 hours and now we have full bars inside our house which is 1,800 sqft. Before we got it all our call dropped and we had to go out side or stand next to an open window.

Fixes poor reception

It solved my poor reception issue at my house, which is all I wanted.

The GPS antenna is a bit of a pain.... Needs to have constant GPS signal, so plan on that.

Quite powerful - good range covers my entire house.

Makes a big difference in cellular strength!

I bought this Verizon LTE Extender for my summer home where the Verizon signal is one bar or less. Calls would frequently cut off and my alarm kept giving weak cellular signal warnings. This all changed the moment I connected the LTE extender to my wifi router. Now I get 3 -4 bars, and all incoming and outgoing calls go through. The alarm system notes an improved signal as well amd no longer sends warning signals! The only requirement is to keep the phone within 50 feet of the extender. A must for fringe area Verizon users

We're 6 miles from the closest cell tower. MMS messages would typically take around 12 minutes to send. After calling Verizon and setting this unit up MMS messages now send in about 10 seconds. There are a couple newer models of this available according to the Verizon rep but this one works just fine. Our internet upload speed was not near as fast as this extender "required" but it works just fine anyway. Well worth the money. Read full review
