Nothing short of brilliant
So far, I am very happy with this product. Considering it says refurbished, it look brand new, you wouldn't think it's refurbed. The battery is brilliant, I get around 4-5 days out of mine. It connects with pretty much every app I use and is very convenient for replying to messages without having to get my phone out. The only thing, and it's not major by any means, is that I am not a huge fan of the rubber strap it comes with. Though the rubber strap is my go to when at the gym. I did buy a second strap for it that makes it look smarter, they are very easy to put on. Overall, very impressed at the product and the price.Read full review...

Difficult to maneuver between apps and limited sports apps. No cross trainers or weights. Difficult to steer to the existing apps and no direct start and finish. Absolutely brilliant.
This is my second smart watch, the first being a smaller and lighter LG Style. The LG worked well but the battery was barely strong enough to keep it going for a normal day. In fact it was no problem to put it on charge overnight - but boring to find it had gone into power saving (which meant it told the time but not much else) in the early evening.
This one I also put on charge at night. I don't want it by the side of my bed anyway. But it seems to have 80% capacity left after a fourteen hour day.
As long as you don't mind a bit larger watch this is the smart watch to go for. Tons of tricks and surprises - and a wonderful way of staying up to date with messages and the news.Read full review...

Looks great and functions very well. The exercise activity monitor is too sensitive though and will sometimes think that I'm cycling when I'm driving my car. I find the altimeter and barometer are cool features but the altimeter reads incorrectly sometimes; I have to keep recalibrating it. The sleep app may be slightly too sensitive as well. Arrived quickly fantastic watch paired to my S9+ really easily so may features that I am using already starting to think how did I manage before !! Battery life not what I was hoping to be honest but lasts a lot longer than my Fossil smart watch and was a fraction of the price !!!!! The big complaint on the GW is the lack of apps available for free. There are actually quite alot of apps to use on it but the majority are paid apps. You get lots of free faces every month and battery life is actually really great. Quick top up charge when eating breakfast or in the shower and its unlikely to die in a day or 2 unless you play music on it constantly at full volume.
It's a bit high priced considering it doesn't do much more then a normal Bluetooth watch. Notifications, the majority of which you still need to view on your phone. Can't view pictures from inside an app ie a received WhatsApp pic. So for your money that's disappointing, but at the same time your buying the last watch you will ever need so maybe it's priced fairly enough. Depends on the individual.
There are plenty of cool possibilities, I control my tv, can control lights and locks with some added Samsung tech in the home. Sleep and health tracking are pretty great features and overall I love it. I rarely take it off.
It would just be handy to have a few more integrated apps that didn't require that I needed the phone. Even ask a question on Bixby and the answer is view answer on phone. Hopefully this will get better in time.

I've had many smartwatches from many different manufacturers, but this is the first time I've used Samsung. I was reluctant to move away from Wear OS which I'd become accustomed to. However, I'm really pleased I did. Tizen is way faster, and a lot less power-hungry than Android. The battery life on this latest Samsung watch is great. The watch is better than I expected.
I had a Samsung Fit (E), to monitor my health. I had never had one of these devices before, and didn't know if I would use it. I had to wear it instead of my current watch, due to the work I do. I missed my watch. I was pleased with the Fit (E), so I looked at what I could get as an upgrade to the Fit (E). I saw Samsung did this R800 Smart Watch. It looked like it did all the health things I wanted it to do, plus I could have a watch face of my choice. I treated myself to the R800 Smart Watch. It did way more than I expected. The health part is fantastic, with extensive heart rate monitor, sleeping monitor, exercise monitor, water intake monitor, and many other apps. I liked all the different faces you could have, which were free. I tried out loads of faces until I could one I liked more than the others, but they were all great. These are so many faces, you will easily find one you like, digital or analog. I also could change the face to a more classic face when go out socialising, so I didn't have to change it to my current watch, and I still had all the functions I wanted. What I didn't like about it was the rubber strap, but I think that is just me. I like metal straps. So I just purchased a metal strap (£6) and changed over, which was so easy. The only other thing I didn't like was the black matt bezel, which could easily get scratched. Mine isn't, but I have decided to get a silver speed bezel (£4), which sticks on, to add it the all metal look I like. I am just Joe public, and it does all I wanted and more.
