Golden oldie that is beats Apple without breaking the bank and being a slave to iTunes

Classic top-end smartphone from 2014. Looks good, high quality build, robust, simple to use and fun to own. 4.7" display, 12MP camera, 2GB RAM and a massive 32GB of storage, Gorilla glass, very sensitive touch screen, fast, responsive, 115 grams, Lollipop Android 5. The battery is rated at 350hrs standby, I have an old one and I get 2+ days of light use, it is endurance rated for 52 hours but most people will get a day out of it at least. The battery will last less time if you hammer the phone but charges quickly and spares are cheap. The best thing about this phone is that, unlike most expensive smartphones, the battery can be changed in 10 seconds by removing the back cover. The display may not be the top spec but is very good and the camera takes good photos. It's light, neatly fits in your hand or pocket and combines well if you buy the S-View flip case. For an average used price of £50-£80 it's a great phone. I've just bought another one and I had an Apple iPhone.Read full review

Broken Finger Sensor

Perfect phone - long lasting battery with great camera. Only fault is that the finger sensor is broken ! It's not a huge problem but is very irritating as I now have to get it fixed :(

Best smartphone I've owned to date

Excellent camera, enough space for all the apps and media I need, fast browsing, classy little number. A little larger than I'd like in terms of size but it fits in most pockets and feels sturdy and well made yet lightweight. Very Happy. The original battery was swapped over for a high capacity one so I cant comment on the battery life, but with the high capacity battery I can use it all day and it'll still be going in the morning.
