Fast data backups ideal for video
The USB 3.0 memory sticks are much faster to record data than the older 2.0 versions. They are correspondingly a bit more expensive than the slower sticks, so it depends whether speed is a vital requirement for whatever files you are backing up. In practice this means for me that for recording small files (e.g. pdfs or music MP3) the 2.0 memory sticks are perfectly adequate, but for videos or complete films with several GB of data to back up, the 3.0 sticks would be a lot quicker.Read full review...

Good for Recording HD TV
After buying the the 64G version to record from my Teknikal satellite box I bought the 128G version, which also works fine. 3.0 is needed to record HD. (A 3.0 USB from another manufacturer didn't work on my sat box, although it works on my PC.)Read full review...
