Long Battery Life
This is a nice sturdy little unit with great sound. As with any MP3 player, you must use good earbuds or headphones. I use this at work in a noisy factory and can hear my tunes just fine. This unit is easy to use too. Arrived fast and is in great condition.! I can use it for 3 eight hour shifts on 1 AAA battery.Read full review

Works like a charm!
This player was to replace my wife's after the battery leaked. We misplaced it during our last move, then found it...damaged. This one was brand new, and it works perfectly. Had it ready for my sweetie in about 15 minutes. Already had the playlist on the computer, so it's like she never lost it. These are really nice mp3 players, and the radio function is magnificent. Good mp3 player
Not as good as iRiver iFP-799 or iRiver T-10 players. Controls are simple and intuitive. Sound quality is good, but not as good as the iRiver player with SRS. Battery life is excellent, and being able to use a AAA battery is welcome. Good product for the price, but not the best sounding player.Read full review
Simple, good radio, but limited storage
Old technology and limited storage space but it works better than many of the Sansa players I've had and I don't have to worry about battery failure (which has happened a lot on my MP3 players) when all I have to do is change a AAA battery.Read full review

This, along with the IRiver T 10 is among the very best portable MP3 players.
Excellent unit. I have two. One is missing the back battery cover. That is why I purchased this one.

Old school unit works fine
This is the only mp3 player that is allowed in the hospital where a relative is staying long term. For what it does, it's perfectly fine. LCD display is adequate. 1GB of memory doesn't go too far, but it is a very old model.Read full review

Small and simple
It's a must have for work. It's small and durable. Only needs 1 AAA battery...just 1....that alone saves money. Cheap 8 pack Kroger batteries last me 2-3weeks . This has a lock to keep station locked in. It will not change stations when its locked. It has built in EQ..Just get good headphones to get full sound of this little thing . It's awesome...FYI Its my 3rd , same mp3 ...love itRead full review

Simple and easy low-cost MP3 player
Simple to operate. Good sound quality with earbuds. Long life from a single AAA battery.
The 1 GB is comparatively small but adequate for most MP3 playlists. The lack of a slot for an outside memory chip is a downside as well, but the price is good for what you get.Read full review

Glad to find this!
Glad to find this one, to supplement another vintage m240! Takes up minimal space in the gym bag, easy to change the battery, stays out of the way during workouts.
