nice features if they all worked as they should

ive always had seperates systems but never liked all the wiring that comes with seperates so decided it was time for a change,my initial thoughts on this sandstrom system were positive as all worked as it should,however i started to get problems with the cd player,it would read discs as and when it wanted to,apparantley this seems to be a familiar problem with this system,im now on my third cd deck as two before it were exchanged,and getting the same problems as with the other two before it,my solution is ive now got a dedicated cd hooked up to it via the auxillary ports and thats working through the system fine,so on the cd player side of things im afraid its a thumbs down from me,however the dab radio works great and is so nice and clear and the usb port on the rear works great too,ive connected my mp3 player and usb sticks and its played everything and played it exceptionally well,it lists albums numerically i.e album 1 etc,you can also skip tracks on albums as well,the manual does a fairly decent job of explaining how to do this,all in all a decent sounding system thats only let down by the(in only my own opinion)cd player side of things,the only thing that would stop me buying sandstrom music systems is due to how many cd decks ive had to exchange,the radio and usb side of things though i would give a thumbs up to as they really do work so well and im quite satisfied ive got round the cd player problem in my own way.Read full review
