This record contains some of his most inspired playing and was a unique way of combining a great guitarist with contemporary artists. I think it led to a fresh sound which gave him a new platform for a wider audience without losing his unique style which people were drawn to in the seventies. GREAT CD.MY COPY GOT SCRATCHED SO I HAD TO GET ANOTHER. WHEN IT ARRIVED IT WAS IN A1 CONDITION AND COST ME A FRACTION OF THE NORMAL PRICE. EVERY TRACK ON THIS CD IS BRILLIANT AND IT GETS WELL PLAYED,ESPECIALLY IN THE SUMMER MONTHS. THE GUITAR PLAYING IS FANTASTIC. Carlos Santana has been in the music business a long long time, and this is one of his best albums. It is a fusion of Latin and other styles, and by working with such greats as Clapton Lauryn Hill and Wyclef, he has produced a classic album.

One of the best guitar players of all time, and with Rob Thomas vocals this is a great CD, and welcome addition to my CD collection.

top album

i bought this as a replacement as we lost the other one in a house move. it turned up week after my new purchase!!! which to my pleasure as it saves taking it backward and forwards from the house. this really is a top cd and i have noticed other people are not to keen on all tracks, all i can say is give it chance. after a few glasses of the vino it grows on you. we have now got it surgically attached 5 years on.Read full review...
