Sanyo VCR a good choice to play old VHS tapes

I purchased this to replace an older Sanyo VHS that died. It came with no remote, but I had a remote from my previous Sanyo player. The remote I had was needed to adjust the tape tracking which was a bit off. Other than that, the picture and sound were good on a newer HD tv. Just the basics, but works great!

I have many VCRs because I have a lot of movies on video cassette, and all of my VCRs are combos with DVD players. I don't know if it is a coincidence that all of the VCRs quit working on all of these machines even though the DVDs still work, or it is a case where I stopped playing the video cassettes for a period of time. Whatever the case, all my VCRs now eat the tape when I try to watch a movie.

Sanyo VHS Player Works Great
