SBTB- The New Class: Season 5 is the BEST!

As a child growing up, I wasn't engrossed in cartoons. I mean- don't get me wrong,I liked my PepperAnn, Doug and couldn't say no to Recess back in the early days. But even as a six and seven-year-old, I loved the TNBC lineup. It was an escape to the wild and exciting life of highschoolers. Even though my parents objected, I watched faithfully every Saturday morning and my favorite of all, amongst Hang Time and City Guys, was Saved By the Bell: The New Class. However hokey it was or how much it didn't live up to the original Zach/Kelly cast (as my older sister often reminded me), I loved the cast and their moral lessons and adventures. If you are getting any of the seasons, get SEASON 5! The New Class really hit its stride with their trip to Paris, the fun summer mall jobs, and Ryan and Liz's "so cute" relationship. Two of my favorites are with the character Maria, the Latina in the group. She can be so domineering and annoying in most but in one episode she conquers her fears and saves her and Ryans' life in the wilderness and in another she confronts her drug problem. Both are pretty powerfully done especially when you remember they were in half-hour increments. I love Katie (the actress later went on to star in Guiding Light) and her quirkiness and of course the shenanigans of Mr.B and Screech(which are plenty). I could go on and on but if you loved the mid-90s and those classic teen situations, go and buy SAVED BY THE BELL: THE NEW CLASS, SEASON 5 today!!!Read full review...

One of the best seasons of the long-running series!

This is a great, hard-to-find DVD! Watching this show sure brings back memories (miss you Teen-NBC!), and this DVD provides the long-awaited opportunity to see this show. This season is one of my favorites because of the unique style, character development, new Max, and plenty of episodes taking place outside of school. Despite the lack of bonus features on the DVD, the sound and color are good. Recommend this DVD for any Saved By the Bell fan, and those who aren't familiar to the show should check this out as well. Saved by the bell-the new class season 5

Saved by the bell was my favorite show I liked to watch. I bought this in order to remember one of my favorite shows which I will still watch whenever I am free.

Awesome DVD

I grow up with the show and I always been a fan of it and season 5 was one of my fav along with others. Its a funny show talks about teen issues and everyday life, plus its funny. I would recommend this to any teen.Read full review...

This DVD rocks.

I like this season of Saved By the Bell the New Class, I love the way The Max got a makeover, and deals with friends moving to another location and dealing with trying to move on and make new friends.
