Seagate 500GB 7200 Internal Hard drive

Seized up after 2 days, being very noisy from the moment i first switched it on.

Put all my banking details on it so i did not want to send it back,i destroyed the drive and chucked it in the bin.

I should have bought a western digital Black model in the first place.

Buy a cheap or used drive and you take a chance.

I ended up buying a Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD ,fast,quiet,but expensive and you get a 5 year warranty.

Normal better said standard performance, nothing to be excited about.

No improvement or noticeable deference.
Not a lot to be excited about. Money for value well possible not since bought as second hand with life expectancy not known.

Some workk fine but prone to the click of death.

Bought 4 of these, 3 of them have worked fine as you would expect but the 4th one developed the click of death after a couple of days so not too happy with that.

I only bought it to wedge open a door, so I just wouldn’t bother reading this rubbish if I were you, maybe go out for a walk instead, set fire to something you don’t like the look of and then blame that new couple who moved it to number 7, I don’t like the look of him, his eyes are to close together, and she’s can’t stop talking to herself.

Appears to be a good quality product even though it is refurbished. I can't comment on it's longevity only time will see but for CCTV recording use it is first class. Will buy again
