OK for large storage but has draw backs compared to 2TB versions

great for major storage, but a bit temperamental, not as stable as 2TB versions that l have had for years, sometimes throws wobbly on large transfer files like videos, blue screens you, and needs reboot to connect it ag so really needs to be connected all the time. May well work better on a modern computer, mines 7 years old, but great and no problems. hindsight should have brought two of the 2TB version's, never had any problems with those they are brilliantRead full review

Experience has taught me that Seagate is one of the BEST External Hard drives on the market if not i The beat. High praise I know but that's my opinion. As for compact. Such a lot can be saved in such a small space. It has gone up in price over the years but these days that is par for the course!
