Good item(s) which do the job.

It's a hard disk drive, in an enclosure. With the price I paid it was very good value for money. I didn't need the 'features' that make the '020' model special, just that it had the correct dimensions and it was a working HDD. No bad sectors. I believe that this model is still a current Seagate product. I bought it because it apparently worked, it was the correct size for my needs both in capacity (320x10^9 bytes) and physical dimensions (standard 2.5in form factor, less then 10mm thick, 7mm I think). I daresay it is not the quickest on the market being 5400rpm cf 7200rpm models, hybrid SSHDs and SSDs, but it does the job of a laptop HD , which I intend to use as a backup.

An enclosure was an additional bonus. The SATA to USB2.0 interface works well. I do not believe that that exact model of case is current. Branded by Dynamode, they do have a website with an email address; I sent them an enquiry but received no response, so lack of customer support is a mark against them.
Physically the case is quite robust being made of aluminium. It is held together by two small cross head screws, which are not too difficult to get in, may be because the silver colour shows up against the black of the case (other cases are virtually impossible - maybe it's their being black-on-black colour, or their screws being smaller [microscopic]). These screw the interface/lid of the case to the body. My one concern is that the case (as It was supplied to me) held the disk only by the pins of the SATA interface: there was no other support or mounting to the case. As such, the disk inexplicably sometimes seemed to rattle in the case as if slightly loose. I intend to attempt to correct this by inserting small piece(s) of anti-static foam by way of extra support in the bottom of the case (this may be because the case was designed for 9.5 mm high disks and I am using a 7mm high disk).
