Too flexy can't tell if its doing a full turn

"Too flexy can't tell if its doing a full turn"
The inner working is a tight wound spring understandable for hard to reach carb setup..... but while setting up my bank of carbs i found that when using the tool it jammed and kept spinning out so i have ordered a cheaper ratchet type ......I must say the new ratchet one did the set-up of my carbs in less than 5 minutes compared to the item i bought, ( the 1st carb was 1/2 a turn out... the 2nd carb was 3 turns out...the 3rd carb was almost close,,,,the 4th carb i set by hand)
So on that i will probably try to sell it on or give it to my mate who loves gadgets like this and piss him off lol.

It works well enough with some perseverance

Had to file the tip a bit thinner as it wouldn’t fit the screws on my Honda. A bit fiddly to use but it does the job ok. Quite expensive for what it is but would be a struggle without it.

Too springy

I have no doubt this screwdriver would work well in some cases but for my motorcycle it didn’t.. I have a Triumph Thunderbird 900 and the space beneath the carburettors is very minimal.. I had to struggle to engage the tool on the pilot screws and adjustment was impossible because the blade kept jumping out. Nice idea but not for my machine, A Gregory Read full review...

Too big for my application

Have a CB600F and this is just too big. The angled end is just too big and can't locate the jet as the tool won't fit between the carb and the casing. But it may come in handy one day for something else.Read full review...

RUBBISH

Cheap yes, fit for purpose no. The wire drive through the tool is too soft and binds up in the tube which doesn't allow smooth adjustment of the screw, even when I flooded the tube with oil. The screwdriver tip is only just barely crimped onto the end of the inadequate Spring wire drive and came off after about 10 minutes.Read full review...

Fuel mixture screw on a Yamaha !!

This Item will not perform the function it is sold to do. The blade is to thick at the tip and the head jumps out when you try to turn the mixture screw.

Just a waste of time.

value for money

A very useful tool at a competitive price, an absolute essential for carburettor adjustment where hands find it difficult to go. The other good factor is that is also avoids getting burns from a hot engine.Read full review...

Doesn't work on all bikes

The head doesn't extend far enough to work on my ZR7S. It's still a useful too and I'm keeping it, it just can't be used for the job I bought it for.

Okay

Bought this to adjust carburettor settings on CBF 600sa. Screwdriver works okay, but I couldn't use it, not the screwdrivers fault, pilot screw very difficult to access, so never used it .
