Sega Saturn Grey Console (PAL)

A blast from the past!

The Sega saturn was released in an era where 3d had begun to take off so graphically it struggled to match the Playstation in that department. However it was in fact a 2d powerhouse and was home to the best 2d fighting games and scrolling shoot em ups! That's not to say there weren't any good 3d games as the likes of virtua fighter 2, sega rally, nights, virtua cop 1 & 2 would show under the talent, the saturn was capable of fabulous graphics! It has to be said that the Japanese saturn had a much better and bigger selection of games that never made it to Europe and America. The saturn had enough exclusive titles to make it a worthy purchase and a console I will always remember fondly! I would recommend the likes of panzer dragoon zwei and saga, guardian heroes, athlete kings, burning rangers, radiant silvergun to add to the titles I mentioned previously.Read full review
