Work well,could use short instructions to advise putting small hole in the bottom of the bottles to prevent vacuum build up. Other than that these do exactly what they promise. Great buy.

Not really doing the magic you would want

It seems impossible to properly regulate water dripping from a bottle by just having a small opening: if it is correctly small opening - it will clog or close due to any miniscule changes. If it is bigger - your water will finish well before you wanted. And this kit - good intentions - but the same - you try to regulate and end up with either water finished times faster than expected, or all the water staying in. Use to water young trees and great for this job

Used to water young (small) trees just planted and worked well for this job. Better than just pouring water around the trees. Use bottles with bottoms completey removed so very easy to re-fill.

Economical and easy to use

These irrigation garden watering bottle spikes need a little trial and error to get the water flow right but they certainly do the job. A good purchase.

The device is simple and effective but there are no instructions. I know it is simply a question of screwing the fitting on and adjusting the flow, but it does nor mention that you need to open up the bottom of the bottle to allow air in. If you don't do this after a short time as the level drops a vacuum will form and prevent water draining off.Read full review

A complete waste of money

I bought these to water my planters whilst I was away. For anyone considering them - save your money - they don't work. I filled them with water pushed them into the soil and, even with the spike adjusted right down, they drained of water in less than 10 minutes.
