I will be needing no new headphones anytime soon now that I own Sennheiser HD 650's
Very nice headphones. Neutral and non fatiguing. Lightweight and easy to wear for long periods of listening time. There are tons of reviews online regarding this product. Pay attention to them and you'll understand what the fuss is about once you get a pair.Read full review
They sound like cans, not like music
I forgot how bad even good cans sound. For the money I expected better. I tried them with analog input and a couple of different DAC's but the bass remained exaggerated. Soundstage was good, definition was excellent, the mids were accurate, vocals as good as I have ever heard, highs were slightly subdued (how I like it) without a trace of harshness or sibilance. These headphones were extremely comfortable and can be worn for extended listening. If you like a bright sound, these are not the headphones for you. But if you like prominent bass then these might be a good choice. Read full review
Great cans
When I had the chance to listen to Sennheiser headphones some 30 years ago I was amazed by the sound quality, light weight, and overall build quality. I have bought 3 pairs since my first pair and the HD 650's are by far the best sounding I have ever heard. I am very pleased with them. These are probably going to be the last pair I am going to buy. Great headphones
Pretty good bass, sweet mids, and a relaxed high end. Not harsh at all, exceptionally good for long listening sessions, for both enjoyment and critical listening (although not a 100% transparent, they're pretty good for mixing in conjunction with some monitors). Really detailed, you'll notice stuff in songs that you may have not noticed before. Really comfortable (after some time, clamping force is strong when brand new). Not the biggest sound stage, but pretty decent. Highs could be just a little more present (for my taste anyway). All in all pretty good headphones, recommendedRead full review

This is my 3rd pair of HD650's in the past two decades. I listen to these hours a day. I literally wear out the padding on the headbands and use them until even replacement earpads won't stay in. These are, to me, the industry standard. I use them while recording my electric guitars and MIDI through DAW's, and through my new Yamaha amp. They sound fantastic.Read full review

Quality cans, worth the price
Impressed with these headphones, but I'm biased towards Sennheiser anyway. Before buying I read some reviews online and one said the clamp is too tight but will ease with time. I hope so, because I agree, the clamp is tight. I will recommend these to friends and family. . Read full review
