Seraphom Falls

started off great. I thought this was the best thing brosnan has ever been in. the film rolled on and with a few twists and turns. It then started to get a bit samey. The same old predicaments and the same conclusion. But then something strange happened.

I dont know whether the Author had swallowed an 'E' or something similarly halusinagenic, but people characters started appearing from literally nowhere and one of them at least had absolutely no reason to be in the script.

If i was comparing this movie to a well known band, it would be the Beatles. They started off really well and then when all psycodelic at the end.

All in all, i would recommend the first hour to hour and a half.

Good western

This western came out just before, and was then overshadowed by, 3:10 To Yuma (Russell Crowe) and Jesse James (Brad Pitt). It's 2 lead actors are both irish (Liam Neeson and Pierce Brosnan)! It starts off well; it's basically a chase movie, set in stunning scenery from high snowy mountains to hot sandy deserts. I'm a western fan and was enjoying this one for about an hour or so, but the weak ending lets it down, therefore only 4 stars out of 5.Read full review...

Seraphim Falls

Love a good western, Brosnan & Neesom usually make for a good film. the cinematography was first class, but the storyline was a long drawn out affair. In some parts it was rather far fetched, so the weak ending was no surprise.
Disappointing all round.
