Although the materials are lightweight, functional and easy to decorate there is a problem with the construction.
There are basically two problems, possibly both could be solved with one alteration to the design.
The problems give rise to the box not closing adequately. The hinged area is not sufficient for the top to close over and the rim meet the base rim. If the lower part of the box was lined with an inner false rim for the top part to fix onto this would also alleviate problem. As it is it would not be possible to employ a decoupage for decoration as it would exacerbate the problem along the hinged edge. I painted yet still had to drill into box and use fixings to keep it closed.Read full review...
