Shadow Madness (Sony PlayStation 1, 1999)

A very under-rated rpg!

A lot of people say negative things about this game. It was listed in one of the top five worst rpg's of all time. BUT, I say nay-nay! The combat and graphics are not it's strong point, but the writing is where it shines! Great story with a lot of humor. I had some good laugh-out-loud moments! Story is fun and the characters are pretty cool. The pre-rendered backgrounds are nice. To show how much I like this game I bought it again because I felt like playing it again. Plus this is one of the few rpg's I ever finished, and that's saying a lot because I've started a lot and never finished them. So forget the negative reviews and give it a chance!Read full review

A child hood favorite from a non fan of RPG

As a young teen I had trouble reading, but this game had a subtle sense of dark humor that kept me interested. I spent weekend after weekend playing it, but never beat it. Now I'm back for revenge as an adult!Read full review
