Quite an essential. . .AND RARE AT THAT!

Wow-So this is her 5th studio album. In terms of parallel to Madonna's 'EROTICA', this cd by Siobhan Fahey as the mystique Shakespears Sister shows an organic and acoustic side on 'Cosmic Dancer'. In similarity to above compared album, "Cosmic" hits some lounge and mess-jazz vamp anthems as well with "You Can't Wear Shades Forever", "Ned" and "Here Comes The Weather". Her revisits of "A Lonely Heart (Is A Loaded Gun)" and "Goodbye Cruel World" are by best way detailed as more abstract-one clean and polished; the other a girl with a guitar. (Intentional vinyl scratch sound added at the beginning of the sound recording and at the end.)Read full review...
