I have 4 dogs and 2 cats, I hoover everyday or I thought I did, until I bought my first ever Shark vacuum cleaner. I was mortified to see just how my h my other vacuum left behind! The headlamps on the Shark make it so easy to see Where's been missed. It's lightweight with a super long cord. A terrible product on the whole, utilizing accessories to vacuum is very difficult. I have only got it a few weeks ago but it feels it will not last more than a year because it is so flimsily made.

This is my second shark corded upright vacuum cleaner I purchased one for upstairs and downstairs, I gave up on my dyson (very good cleaner) but the charge would go by time I had done all I wanted now going back to corded I can clean when I want. Excellent vacuum cleaner for carpets and the ease of using the 'wand' and tools is superb, but I'm disappointed with the 'hard floor' facility as it is impossible to push the cleaner over our hard floor in the kitchen because it just sticks to the floor due to the strong suction, and I have tried all settings. The only way I can clean the kitchen floor is to use the small brush tool on the end of the 'wand' which takes a lot more time. Read full review...

To much power and no adjustment
The shark vacuum cleaner has plenty of vacuum it lift's the carpet.
The problem is it's too much which makes it difficult to move something as simple as ajustable rear wheels or better still ajustable front wheels would probably solve this.
I'm quite strong and I find it difficult to move at times.
My wife finds it impossible she has even gone back to our hover upright with the paper bags as the shark hurts her hands and wrists trying to move it.
I borrowed my brother's shark vacuum to try it out and it was great my mistake is that I ordered a different one.
My advice to anyone looking at buying a shark vacuum cleaner see if you can borrow the model that you're going to buy as carpet or hard floor it can be very difficult to move.
