Based on first use, I would absolutely recommend this machine.
I have only used this once since receiving it hence the 4 stars however, based on the first use, it is a great vacuum. The suction is excellent which can make it slightly heavy to move around but definitely does the job. The extra accessories are ideal for different jobs like the stairs and nooks and crannies. Although this was refurbished, apart from the packaging, you cannot tell as each part was in immaculate condition. Read full review

I wish I had known about this vacuum earlier. Very easy to use. Lots of different handy tools. Easy to keep it clean. Versatile as motor also detaches stairs , ceilings and car.

Totally converted to Shark
I used to have a Dyson but I'd used my daughter's Shark several times and was impressed, so when I came to look for a new vacuum cleaner, I chose a Shark of my own.
Not disappointed! Excellent on hard floors, and it made rugs and carpets look like new again! Powerful, easily manoevreable, and with an impressive array of tools for all the odd little jobs.
It has a bit of weight to it but the centre of gravity is low so that isn't a problem. The anti-hair-wrap seems to work well and the light on the front is surprisingly useful.
It's very easy to empty and the lift-off function and wand release are crisp and easy to use.
