Fantastic cleaning power. I'm used to a cordless Dyson stick but price to upgrade to the latest model is ridiculous so I thought I'd try the corded Shark, so glad I did. I was worried after cordless that I would'nt like the cord but to be honest I was getting fed up of running round the house worried the battery would conk out on me . The shark cord is very long so it hasn't bothered me at all. Its a bit heavier on the arm than the Dyson but great pick up, no hair tangle on the bar and easy to empty. Read full review

Heavier than my old one which is a good thing because I know its cleaning the carpet, old one was to light kept leaving dirt behind being corded is a plus because i know its not going to stop working, my old one has gone through 2 batteries ,they won't stay charged cut out after 20 seconds, not good enough, this one i can't fault so far, it does what it's supposed to do, makes half as much noise as my old one cord is long enough ( 10 ) metres does get in the way sometimes but it not a problem, easy to empty really good hoover. *****Read full review

This hoover is easy to use and manouver around. It's light weight and has amazing suction but doesn't stick to the floor so hard it can't be pushed. Easy to empty too.

This is my very first Shark have always used a Dyson. But I have to say this is Definitely on Par if not better Than the Dyson. Shark Vacuum cleaner

My first impressions and usage are that this is the best vacuum cleaner I've owned to date. The removal of surface debris is incredible but the deep down dust and grime it also extracts is amazing and embarrassing. Love the design too especially the ability to bend and get under furniture with the added plus of headlights so you can see what you are doing. Time will tell if it stands the test of time but, hey, it comes with a 5 year guarantee too.

I was initially very impressed by the eco-friendly packaging - paper rather than plastic is always great. Also the Quick Start Guide on the box was a help as I was able to use the vacuum straight away, although I think I had it on the wrong setting, as you have to change for carpet or hard floors. It is quite heavy to cart about and not ideal for the stairs - I use the crevice tool but this does not fit very well on the nozzle - I would like it to click on properly but you just push and hope for the best. It picks up well, though not as well as my old Dyson, but then it is cheaper than a Dyson, so fair enough.Read full review
