Wow. When I received this Shark vacuum cleaner, I vacuumed with my Dyson Ball. Then I vacuumed the same carpet with the Shark. Unbelievably, although my Dyson seemed to have picked up all the dust etc. from my carpet, the Shark collection container had quite a bit more dust and pet hair etc., when I used it immediately after. On the same carpet. I believe my Dyson collected all the dust, I was mistaken. As for vacuuming the stairs, so very easy. The suction, it is adjustable, is amazing. And unlike the Dyson, it doesn't sound like a harrier jump jet taking off.Read full review
