FANTASTIC classic like all the other shaun dvds.
The whole family love shaun and we all enjoy watching this one together. very funny, very cute and everything you would expect from shaun and the gang. great dvd!
jolly good
If you love Shaun the Sheep, you'll love this. It's not rocket surgery is it.
It could probably do without play the full theme tune between every episode (as they're only 5 minutes long each it can become a bit tiresome).Read full review...

Shaun the Sheep - Off the Baa (DVD)
I first began watching Shaun the Sheep with my grandchildren on CBBC a couple of years ago. I was already a fan of Wallace & Gromit and Chicken Run and the humour in StS is the same blend of slapstick and subtlety. So one episode and I was hooked. I still watch with my grandchildren who are also avid fans but also will play episodes when I'm on my own. Then I can laugh raucously without getting strange looks.
Probably my favourite episode is the very first, 'Off the Baa', which I didn't have on DVD. Our local shops have not switched on to the potential Shaun fan market. So when the DVD came up on eBay, I just had to have it. Fortunately for my pocket there wasn't much opposition.
Nancy Banks-Smith writing a review of it in 'The Guardian' back in 2007 said that "it hits the four-to-seven-year-old age group smack in the eye". If she added 60 to the upper age she would have been more accurate. I hope to enjoy the adventures of Shaun and his flock mates for many more years to come.Read full review...
The best show about sheep you will ever see!
Clever tales about Shaun the sheep and his barnyard mates. My kids love these. Even my eight year old, who usually pretends not to like these sort of kids' shows, gives this dvd full marks. Like Wallace and Grommet, the humor appeals to children and adults. There is no dialogue, only layer upon layer of sight gags. The characters go from one absurd situation to the next and the outcome, though predictable (these are children's shows after all), always comes about in an hilariously unexpected way. One of the major reasons I enjoy Shaun the Sheep is that it isn't "dumbed down" in the least.
So many of the kids' shows these days seem to have very little thought and even less effort going into putting them together. The creators of the standard fare must think we are all mindless drones who only respond to witless "Three Stooges" type humor and all that is painfully obvious. Shaun the Sheep, however, is definitely one of the most original, well thought out and well executed shows out there -- of adults' and children's entertainment alike. I highly recommend this dvd as well as the others of which my family also has "Saturdaynight Shaun" and "Shape up with Shaun." Both are equally as excellent!Read full review...

The characters are great and the animation is superb, as you would expect from the makers of wallace and gromit.r>Recommend it to anyone who likes animation, young and old.Read full review...
shaun is amazing
Shaun the sheep is amazing and this dvd is a great selection.
my daughter loves Timmy too.
would recommend to anyone no matter the age.
For all ages
From the first time I noticed Shaun I have loved him and his "mates". Every episode is a winner. I bought this for my niece but watched it first to make suitable, well, that was my excuse. The writers are brilliant to have such an imagination. Now when I look at sheep in a field I imagine what they get up to when the humans are not looking!Read full review...
