This Alivio cassette is one of the best bike parts I ever bought, what I love is the expanded Range this cassette gives me compared to my 11-28t of the same/similar speed and model, as this. This is exactly what I wanted for my birthday and for my 1 x 8 setup. The cassette is excellent quality, a little pricey but still worth every penny and if taken care of can last a very long time. Pefrect Replacement for an HG40 8 Speed Cassette

This paired up nicely with my a Altus derailleur I purchased for my 2010 Specialized Sirrus and was a drop-in replacement for the OEM HG40 cassette that came with the bike. Installation requires a cassette removal tool and either a bike chain whip or and old chain.
