Excellent, simple, tough, either side works, pedal.
Buying my first not strap-ins, I had Specialized shoes in hand, was looking over the expensive different pedal/cleat wares when store guy looked at the several drillings of the shoes, said I could fit anything, directed me to these then-cheap (good quality, not $$) pedals. Just excellent. Minimal, 15-second adjustment from box. Caution: Newer pkg's cleat screws are too short. I had to go to hdw store's small parts bin for longer ones, and a 3mm hex wrench.Read full review

Great Pedal
Road with these kind of pedals for quite a few years, and these with grey color have a great look. They always last me a few years with no problem. I use them on my road bike because I like mtb shoes.

Shimano M520 pedals
Great entry level clipless pedals. The M520 are mounted on my hybrid bike for exercise. It has a firm hold while pedaling . If you want to try SPD type pedals these are great options.
Shimano PD-M520 pedals
Haven't used this set yet but I have an identical pair on another gravel bike. Love them, Shimano always has high quality components. I'm new to clipless, don't forget you are clipped in! Set them to the minimum release and practice on soft grass until you feel confident, you might be embarrassed when you do a slow-motion tipover! But it's no fault of these great pedals.Read full review

Works exactly as should any Shimano item, a little hard to adjust the tension
They're really good, just a little hard to adjust the tension, but once you install them you forget that they are there, as any good item in your life. Easy to get in, easy to get out.

Solid, sensible pedals at great price point.
I have been using these Shimano Pedals on both my road and mountain bikes for a lot of years. These are best 'value' for your money as they are well made as well as not asking for a lot of bucks compared to Shimano's top shelve pedals but offer the same functionality.Read full review

Shimano SPD Pedals
Pedals are very high quality and light weight. They can be clipped in on either side making leaving a dead stop very easy and safe.
I used Shimano products for over 20 years and they have never let me down.Read full review

Shimano pedals at a great price
They are SPD pedals from Shimano for way less than average. Pretty much end of story.
I have two bikes and both have these M520's. (I used the money I saved to buy other bike stuff!)

The best clipless pedals for the price
These are the good old trusted clipless pedals that I have used for 20 years. I bought this new pair for a new bike and their performance is still as good as ever. Highly recommended.

Great pedals, thanks!
Love my SPD pedals. I had some on another bike, but sold the bike with them on it. So thankful I found these for my new bike. Fair price, quick shipping, great buy!
