Reliable, robust and easily adjusted SPuDs

Simple design, straight forward adjustment and almost bombproof. The mechanics of the springs and cleat retaining system is the same for the XT and XTR SPDs. These have a little more bulk, but in operation, they are identical. A great pedal. I've three sets of theses all fitted to bikes and a set of XTs. Can't fault them. This particular set came with cleats supplied. The cleats are hard-wearing and pretty easy to mount on to the appropriate shoes. Recommend.Read full review...

Great product

If you're a newbie to cleats and spd's once you do a little online research these are easy to fit and work great on the bike. Make a massive difference to your ride (I use for spinning)!

quality at a bargain price

Always been a one to avoid clipless pedals until now, these are a joy to use and feet comes out with a quick flick of the heal, I have seen plenty of single sided pedals which you need to ensure you have foot on right side with these having a clip both sides double the chance of getting your foot in, they have tensioners so you can adjust if you want your foot to come out easier and of course with time springs get weak so you can just adjust the tension up a bit, the ones I got also came with fitments known as cleats for your prefered cycling shoes for comfort I would go for trial or MYB shoes as not so stiff and cleats resesed so you can walk to the pub on your ride out with out you sounding likke a horse or someoe with tap shoes on

Lastly although these are classed as MTB pedals you can use on any bike not just mountain bike these ones are for my cyclocross bike.

Exactly what it says!

The pedals came complete with the cleats for fitting to cycling shoes; very easy to fit to the shoes with the screws provided. The pedals were easy to fit to the cranks, just remember to look for the R and L markings to fit to the correct crank. The cleats easily fit into the pedals with a push down and remove with a slight twist of the shoe; takes a few rides to get the hang of it but everything fits together well and there is adjustment screws on the pedals for the cleat fitting.Read full review...

Finally changed to clipless. Massive difference, took 5 minutes off my 13 mile ride home tonight.

Found them easy to fit, even for a diy/technical numpty like me, and maybe I was lucky but the position I got first time was spot on, found them really easy to clip in and out, rode home and didn't forget to unclip when needed to , so didn't fall off at all. Clipped back in really easily, I'm stunned. Made a real difference.Read full review...

Quality, tough and dependable - Great value too.

I bought my first set of Shimano MTB clip-on pedals more than 25 years ago and have been totally converted ever since. No more slipping off the pedals and once you have got used to twisting your foot to release it becomes second nature. Keep the springs lightly greased and they will never need adjusting. Buy some and you won't be disappointed !!!Read full review...

Upgraded pedals

These replace the original flat/SPD pedal on my Boardman road bike. Super easy to install. Cleats may need to be loosened before first ride. I did as I prefer an easy clip-out for safety. High quality kit.Read full review...

Solid buy

Solid good pedals, not worth buying more expensive in my opinion unless looking to shave off the grams, solid robust and cheap, so when worn just buy new, but had a pair of these run for 10 years plus with light use. Value for money, can't be beatenRead full review...
