New to cleats and wanted the easy release version. No accidents so far! No tried ordinary release ones, not sure I will as I don’t seem to slip out with these even on the lowest pedal setting.

Good choice to buy Shimano SPD cleats
Can't beat the original Shimano parts. Saving a couple of quid on cheaper alternatives is a false economy. I've tried, and found the cheaper bits wear out quicker and don't engage / disengage as well on the pedals. MULTI RELEASE CLEATS
I bought these after someone in my office was talking about them, but for me they are a bit loose & too much float. I much prefer the regular cleats as I don't feel very connected to the bike with them. OK for a bit of trail riding in dodgy conditions but poor on a road bike.Read full review...
