Phones for music lovers

These headphones aren't cheap and are fairly bulky so not ideal on the move. These are the only negatives however and if you are looking for true hi-fi sound quality for listening at home I'd unhesitatingly recommend them. Mine are yet to achieve their peak performance after running-in but the musical experience is already intense. The character is generally neutral with a slight warmth apparent in the strings sections in orchestral recordings and bass is rich without dominating vocals and other instruments in rock and jazz. I can wear them for 2 hours continuous listening without any discomfort and appreciate that they leak very little noise making it possible to listen to music whilst others watch tv. Read full review

Build quality seems very good - time will tell. Sound quality is excellent, possibly too good because the sound is very separated between left and right ears, which you don't get when listening live or with speakers. Excellent Headphones for the money and great sound

For this price point you will be hard pushed to beat these headphones, I have always liked my Sennheiser HD600, but these are at least on a par, probably better.... I have a number of headphones as i wear them quite a lot....these are keepers. I should point out that i wear these in a home environment....not on the move, they may be too bulky for some long distance loping around streets!Read full review

Good mid-range closed headphones

Good quality audio, decent soundstage, pretty comfortable to wear. How much you pay for this could affect your opinion of this, but I got this for a bargain. Sufficient presence as bass goes, without being overly too warm, not as 'in your head' as i'd probably have liked, but for closed headphones (and something that's not IEMs), this was likely going to be limited anyhow.
