Siemens EasyTek Remote Bluetooth/wireless App Control

The must have accessory for your Siemans Hearing Aid.

The EasyTek remote is that 'missing' accessory that should really have been supplied with the hearing aids it make such a difference to the overall usability of the devices. OK, until you have one you wont notice what is missing but It allows such a range of 'additional' facilities that are not available with just the aids on their own. Such as Volume Control and tone. Being able to connect with a smartphone is just the icing on the cake. One disadvantage is that others around you don't realize that you might be listening to an audio book or streaming music to your aids and cant understand why you don't respond instantly (time necessary to turn off the transmitting device) unlike if you were wearing obvious earphones.

It is convenient to increase or decrease the volume of the hearing aids and to listen to radio or any bluetooth player. Battery life could be better.

Great Little Dongle

Works well and is easy to set up - am using it with the Siemens/Signia Voicelink unit they paired up easily though they have unpaired a few times and had to be re-paired. Unit comes with standard instructions which are not totally comprehensive (eg no mention of charging the unit up) but full set can of course be downloaded. Only other comment is that there is no case/holder with this unit to keep it safe, but no doubt something suitable can be purchased separately.
