Great value
Fantastic lens! Solid build quality and butter smooth focus ring.
The additional items are a nice bonus for an already great value-for-performance lens.

Not as sharp or as good an AF as I had hoped.
It's a nice solid lens, but the copy I got was not that sharp. Actually my Tamron 28-75 f2.8 G2 had a sharper picture and better AF. It could have just been a bad copy. It was a new lens however.

Worth the Extra Cost
This is a Sigma "Art" lens, as opposed to one in the company's lower-end, cheaper "Contemporary" series. The difference between the Art lenses and the regular lenses is obvious after only a few photographs. I am a professional artist and photographer, and I already own the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 Art lens, so this 20-70mm f/2.8 is the complement in what will eventually be the "holy trinity," which include the 70-200mm f/2.8 Art lens. Once you have these lenses, you won't want to go back to ordinary lenses. Images have that special "something" that spoils the discerning professional or advanced amateur. I have included two of my digital artworks that began with photographs using the Sigma 20-70mm Art lens. They're worth the extra cost because they are, after all, really an investment in your talent.Read full review...

Better than 24-70mm G Master
The Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG Art Lens is of very high building quality and gives very sharp image. Its sharpness and features are as good as if not better than the Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 G Master.
I am particularly fond of the lock switch. It is very handy, just need a twist to unlock it.Read full review...

My first Sigma lens and I love it
Love the sharp images and affordable price compared to the Sony lens equivalent. Only downside is the weight compared to the camera, but I think it's something I could get used to.

Awesome lens! Awesome price!
Does everything I bought it to do. Bought mainly to use for basketball in poorly lit gyms. It provides great photos!

Love this lens!
I shoot sports photography, a lot of volleyball tourneys in sometimes not very well lit gyms. The sigma 2.8 helps alleviate that. Proving some very crisp pictures the zoom range allows for shooting in small gyms as well. Very versatile lens especially for almost half the cost of the Sony equivalentRead full review...

The best 24-70 for Sony E Mount
Sigma blowing the doors off of the Sony equivalent once again. Don’t hesitate to buy this lens.

Great amazing
I love it, everything about it is amazing, sharpness built quality, the only thing I don’t like that much is that @24mm it has a weird distortion

You get a lot of bang for your buck with this lens.
I've used a lot of different lenses and this one is definitely a very good lens for the price. Feels very solid and is just an all around good looking lens.
