Not as good as I hoped

In short, it’s an ok budget lens. High end of zoom (300) is. It as sharp as a kit Canon lens. At 250mm on the Sigma is is not quite as good as a $100 Canon lens.

If you do not plan on enlarging your way mages (don’t zoom in much) at full zoom, you will probably be happy with this lens.Read full review...

If you only pay $119 for a 70-300mm zoom, you can't expect it to be super sharp. I can live with it though.
