Great pram / pushchair

After visiting a baby store for the first time, this pushchair stood out from the rest and we knew we wanted this one straight away. It's very well built and sturdy, compared to others which felt flimsy and looked cheap. The frame is thick yet lightweight. Very easy to set up, and once done it's very easy to fold down. Material of pram and pushchair base very good quality also. It looks and feels excellent. Baby hasn't arrived yet so I haven't got experience of using the pram or wear and tear etc .... but if first impressions are anything to go by, I'll have no worries. Would 100% recommend this pram. Beautiful but floored :-(

I LOVED this Pioneer from the minute I saw it and was delighted to find it at a price I could afford here. It's beautiful and has a HUGE basket and I get lots of compliments, especially as I bought the lovely bright blue hood and apron pack! The adjustable height handle bar is great too and the raincover fits perfectly.

However, since using it for nearly 5 months, I have noticed some real flaws that mean, sadly, I would not recommend this.

The biggest issue are the front wheels - they buckle whenever you try to go up a very slightly raised kerb. Unless the kerb is totally flat, or obviously high so that you know you should tilt back, they buckle when they hit it, which has left me in some dangerous situations trying to get out of the road.

The carry cot is lovely and comfy but small...my baby was long and had grown out of it by about 3.5 months. She had to use the pushchair and the straps were a little too big, even on the smallest settings. It would be nice if they came with some padded covers. The hood and apron packs are an additional £150 if not part of your bundle. The apron is very snug and will not fit a toddler for long, despite the pushchair being suitable up to 25kg. Beautiful buggy system

True to Silver Cross reputation this is a great buggy! Lovely looking, easy to setup and manoeuvre. Baby isn't here yet but we have played lots with this buggy in preparation and now can't wait to try it with baby.
The liner and mattress for the carry cot are enviably soft and comfortable so would imagine baby will be very happy in it.
All the components are reasonably weighted so I can happily collapse and put up the buggy and swap different seats as and when needed.
The suspension feels quite good in the environments we've tried it and the wheels are nice and big; as is the basket under the buggy.
