Silverline 225127 7 PCE Hex Bit Set

Silverline 3/8" drive hex bit set, 3-10mm. 7 pieces.

Although I would always recommend a separate 3/8" Dr bit holder & interchangeable bits, as it's more flexible (Torx, Phillips etc) and it doesn't matter if you break a bit (you just get a new bit). These Silverline bits, for the price of around £5.00 (I paid £3.25!) you may as well buy a pack for the tool box for quicker​ access to popular hex sized cap & grub screws etc. I can't talk about the longevity but, they do have the lifetime warranty. If you register the product of course. The bits are chrome vanadium, not labeled S2 but should be good enough for home vehicle & DIY use for a good while. Can't talk for day jobbing mechanic use & abuse but, even if they last 6 months before getting a new pack on the warranty all for £5, you can't go wrong.Read full review

A bit disappointing..

I wanted a 6mm bit for my bike and decided to get this set. The one I most wanted the set for broke off in the screw’s head the second time I used it.
On the upside, I was able to drift out the bit’s broken stump from the socket and will be able to replace it at some point. Shouldn’t be necessary so soon thoug.Read full review
